Frequently Asked Questions

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
When rotated using our primary Ghostscript method, the PDF orientation metadata is updated — no re-encoding occurs and quality is preserved. If Ghostscript is unavailable, our fallback rasterizes pages at 150 DPI, which is clear for most documents.

Can I rotate only specific pages?
Currently, the tool rotates all pages at once. To rotate only specific pages, use our PDF Splitter to extract pages, rotate them, then use our PDF Merger to recombine.

What is the maximum PDF size?
Up to 30MB per file. For very large PDFs, compress first with our PDF Compressor.

Is the rotated PDF watermarked?
No. FastPDFEdit never adds watermarks to processed files.
