Rotate JPG, PNG, WebP images 90°, 180°, 270° or flip horizontally and vertically. No signup required.
Rotate turns the image around its center point: 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise, or 180°. The image stays the same but its orientation changes.
Flip Horizontal creates a mirror image — left becomes right. This is commonly used for selfies or watermark removal. Flip Vertical flips the image upside-down — top becomes bottom.
Does rotating an image reduce quality?
For 90°, 180°, and 270° rotations, no quality is lost — these are lossless operations. The image data is simply rearranged. Only arbitrary angle rotations (like 45°) would require resampling.
Can I rotate a PNG with transparency?
Yes. Transparency in PNG and WebP images is fully preserved during rotation and flipping.
Is there a file size limit?
Maximum 10MB. For very large images, consider compressing first with our Image Compressor.
Can I rotate PDF files too?
Yes! Use our PDF Rotate tool to rotate pages in a PDF document.
