Create High-Resolution customized QR Codes instantly.
This generator runs entirely in your browser with pure JavaScript, which has a privacy benefit that matters more than it sounds: many free QR services route your link through their own server first so they can track scans — which means the code can break if that company shuts the service down, and they see every URL you encode. Codes made here point straight at your destination, are not tracked, and will keep working for as long as the destination does.
Two things break QR codes in the real world. The first is contrast: keep the code dark on a light background. Inverting it (light code on dark) or using low-contrast colours stops many phone cameras from reading it, so test before you print a thousand copies. The second is size and quiet zone: print it large enough for the expected scanning distance, and leave a clear margin of empty space around it — codes crammed against other elements or text fail to scan. Download the high-resolution PNG for anything going to print so it stays crisp at large sizes.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code encodes your data directly, so there is no account or subscription that can lapse. It works as long as the link or content it points to is live.
Can I change where it points after printing?
Not for a direct code like this — the destination is baked in. If you need to edit the target later, point the code at a URL you control (like a short link) and change the redirect on your end.
Why won't my code scan?
Almost always low contrast, too small a print size, or no quiet zone around it. Use dark-on-light, print larger, and leave a margin.
Is my data tracked?
No. Everything is generated locally in your browser; the URLs and text you enter are not sent anywhere.
